Why does the WHO say HepB can be spread by Saliva, as I understood from videos I watched it is only transmitted from mother to baby, blood or sexual fluids.

Hi @angel,

Thank you for raising this issue. Saliva itself has very little HBV in it unless there is a cut or sore in the mouth, in which case the blood in the saliva can be a vector. I guess the WHO just needs to be very conservative in these cases.
