What’s your opinion on Anti-Virus meds?

Because I live in China where has most Hep B carriers, I’ve come across to a lot people. And some of them are my age, mid 20s Been a carrier their whole life, since dr tell them their ALT/AST is normal even the virus load is very high, there’s no need to be on Meds cause it won’t work well because of the immune system? Dr usually suggest them to take on meds in their 30s or when the ALT/AST number goes up high.

What do you think? And where you from do the dr suggest same opinion? Would love to hear

I think this is consistent with the current clinical recommendations, that you are not considered to go on medication until you are over 30, have evidence of liver inflammation, or you have a family history of liver cancer.
