Very happy to share the PAST Project, a remarkable initiative has made a terrific impact on hepatitis B diagnosis and linkage to care ā especially within Aboriginal communities across the Northern Territory, one of the regions originally most affected in Australia.
Through a culturally informed approach and accessible communication, including multilingual resources in Aboriginal languages, the project has helped the Northern Territory become the only state in Australia to achieve the National Hepatitis B Strategy target, with an outstanding 99% of people diagnosed.
Watch the video highlighting the success of the PAST Project and how community collaboration can drive real change in public health.
