Skincare products based on alcohol and other ingredients and hepB

Hello,

I’m new here. I’m a 30 yo man and live in Central Europe.

I don’t know whether products that I use or want to use for my skincare are safe for my liver.

Many of them include alcohol derivatives and other ingredients that make me think about their safety, for instance: alcohol denat., propylene glycol, glyceryl stearate citrate, phenoxyethanol, methylpropanediol, retinol, retinoids (they’re only examples).

Are skincare products based on these ingredients safe to use or should be avoided because, possibly, they’re accumulated or processed in the liver and are destructive? What should I avoid?

Thomas has kindly answered my question in another topic but maybe others have also some ideas about this issue.

Hi Arb
A keen look at the response given you by @Thomas and comparing it with the discussion brought about by @Abdul on frequent use of hand sanitizers, I form an opinion that @ Thomas response is well researched ( as John tavis says somewhere) and I may not expect any additions or subtraction. Mine is, clear your conscience and move on.
Hope this encourages to.
