Seeking Financial Help for My kidney and Liver test

I am Iorhembe Aondona Samuel, 32 living in Nigeria. I was diagnosed with this since 2010.

I think the miscommunication I got was, I had HCV, if I was educated properly, I would have taken vaccine against B and A. Nobody gave me that advice. In 2023 August 12, I was seriously sick, rushed to the hospital to get myself investigated in the lab. I was now told I have HBV, and the HCV now came out negative. I cried, I became sober for days, weeks and imagined a lot of things.

Now, in a country where nothing is easy for an ordinary person, I am finding it difficult to manage my health. I live a healthy lifestyle anyway. Processed food :x:. No alcohol, no carbonated drink intake.

My plead to this community is, I wish to register for NHIS, so that no matter how much, I can be able to pay up for regular check ups I go for. Help a soul to live.

Thank you all. +2347018520144 my number and am always open to questions about how am doing.

Hi @aondona_samuel,
Welcome to the community. I am sorry to hear about your situation. @Prince_Okinedo and others from Nigeria, do you know of any organizations that can help or can you connect with @aondona_samuel. Thank you, Bansah1

I’m sorry to hear about your situation @aondona_samuel. Perhaps you can reach out the the many local organisations that support people with hepatitis in your area. There is a good list on the WHA website: Member listings - World Hepatitis Alliance

Hope this helps,
Thomas
