I was wondering if this forum has any discussions or spaces about dating or meeting people who also live with Hep B.
It’s been tough navigating dating — especially when it comes time to disclose my status and face rejection. I’m not looking for pity, just wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences or found ways to connect with understanding people. I am from Canada

I suppose finding that special person in your life is difficult as is and living with hepb makes it more challenging for some people. I am one of those fortunate ones that found someone that’s more caring than fearing and I hope you will too.

Thank you for raising this issue. There have been discussions in some parts of the forum that have been asking for something similar. I completely agree that there is a community-driven need for this.
However, the leadership committee decided that this would be too risky given our current resources: if we were to set up a dating platform such as this, it needs to be safe for everyone involved. Given that we have users from across the world posting under pseudonyms, there is absolutely no way that we could guarantee this safety working with only volunteer labour (and I doubt there could be a guarantee even if there were a huge multi-billion dollar company behind it with paid employees).
