Please I need more info on this result

I need good interpretation for this please anyone

Hi @ Dam

From your hepatitis B profile, it shows that anti HBc reactive which means you had HBV exposure and HBV infection ( cccDNA and integrated HBV DNA in hepatocytes) . However, you have HBsAg nonreactive with anti HBs nonreactive (HBsAg seroclearance) and HBeAg nonreactive with anti HBe reactive (HBeAg seroconversion) that means your body immune system had eliminated HBV in the liver and lead to functional cure (without anti HBs) or anti HBs may waning after remotely infected in a long time which may reactive with HBV vaccine booster dose.

Another possibility is that you may have seropositive occult HBV infection or OBI(isolated antiHBc positive) but it’s uncommon which differ from functional cure that in OBI , HBV DNA may present intermittent in bloodstream and the level usually less than 200 IU/ml while in functional cure, the HBV DNA is persistent undetectable. You should consult with your doctor. I hope this may help you understand your HBV profile.
