Ozempic or Wegovy, ok for hepatitis B?

Anyone know if ozempic or wegovy is ok for people with chronic hepatitis B? I ask because it could improve fatty liver and good for alt/ast. I read it could improve liver health

I don’t have any information regarding HBV and these newer medicines. Given that they focus on different issues, they shouldn’t impact HBV in my view. However, I have heard these medicines can help improve fatty liver, sleep apnea, and some cardiovascular problems as well. I believe that as time goes on, they may be repurposed for other conditions. Hopefully, issues about costs could be addressed. Best, Bansah1
