A few #PatientCentered highlights that stand out to me:
Treating the #WholePerson, not just the liver: #QualityofLife is at the top of the treatment goal pyramid.
#PatientPreference: Inclusing into the treatment consideration algorithm.
#TreatAll: wherever resources allow, advocating for broad treatment initiation
#SharedDecisionMaking: Moving away from a purely clinical checklist to a collaborative approach.
The paragraph on the value of shared decision making is spot on: 
“Shared decision-making improves adherence & addresses psychosocial burdens, such as #stigma, fear of #transmission, and treatment fatigue. Achieving viral suppression can improve #mentalwellbeing. For instance, one study showed a 4.5-point increase in SF-36 mental component score after one year of ETV therapy. While psychosocial improvement alone is not an indication for treatment initiation, these benefits underscore the broader value of antiviral therapy in enhancing #PatientReportedOutcomes and #QualityofLife.”
Kudos to the authors for being explicit about a patient-centered approach to #HepB Care!!
