NAD+ (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide)

Hello everyone,

It is okay for someone with chronic hepatitis B to take NAD supplement? IVF or otherwise?

I am at an age where I want to take NAD but not sure how my liver will react to it and I am also taking antiviral medication.

Thank you for your answer

Hi @ Tse

I have read the book about lifespan written by Prof David Sinclair and I had experienced in the use of NMN ( Nicotinamide mono nucleotide) for a limited time.

NMN is the precursor of NAD + and has the effect on cellular physiology and metabolism resulting in anti-aging processes especially in mouse models, however, in human clinical trials are under studied and investigations. Up to now , there are no reports about the obvious adverse events by the use of NMN (Song Q et al . Adv Nutri 2023 ) and it may have benefits in protecting the liver health especially in MASLD patients.
