Good day, everyone.
I trust this finds everyone well. I have attached my recent result wherein I realized on the LFT (Gamma GT) is beyond the range. What might be reason?
I am waiting for the viral load results.
I have been taking Prep for about a year now. I got to know of my hepatitis b positive status since October, 2013. I dont drink alcohol.
I will appreciate your views on the results as a whole too. Thank you for your assistance.
Please, i am attaching the viral load results herein

Hi @Justice,
Gamma GT is also a liver enzyme just as AST and ALT used to detect liver damage when results are. But mostly it’s ALT and AST that are the focus for HBV treatment. Even though that number shows that it’s high the cut off is 60 so 67 is not that far off. These numbers can fluctuate from time to time or from test to test. Let’s see what your results are for your viral load. One high result in a test usually should not be a concern. Keep your eyes on it should it remains this high between a number of tests then we act by seeing a doctor. I hope this helps. Bansah1
Thanks @Bansah1.
I just got the viral load results. Please find the attached.
Your viral load is undetectable which is great. Keep an eye on the Gamma GT on the next results. High on a single test should not be a serious issue but if it remains high for a long time then that might be a concern. Thanks, Bansah1
