How long a young person newly diagnosed with Hepatitis D expected to live?

Hi Gary,

I am unable to find any studies looking at this and providing a clear answer.

But definitely, people with Hepatitis D can live to a long time: there are indeed elderly people with HDV having been chronically infected when they were younger.

Thanks Thomas… One thing not to do is to google how long you will live cause of hep b or d…You will find a miserable and scary answers….lol… consider this as a long term chronic disease that is manageable just like high blood pressure and diabetes…also on top of that…Cure is on horizon!!
