Hello,
I would like to know if natural therapy is good for me as I have been diagnosed with Hepatitis B?
Hello Van,
On the Hep B Foundation, they say:
Many people are interested in taking herbal remedies or supplements to boost their immune system and support liver health. The problem is that there are no regulations for companies that produce these products, meaning there are no strict checks on safety or purity. Therefore, the quality of herbal remedies or vitamin supplements can be inconsistent. Additionally, some herbal remedies can interfere with prescription medications for treating hepatitis B or other conditions; some can even damage the liver. These herbal remedies will not cure chronic hepatitis B.
There are many companies making false promises online and on social media about their products. Online claims and patient testimonials on Facebook are fake and are used to trick people into buying expensive herbal remedies and supplements. Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
Check whether the active ingredients in your herbal remedies or supplements are genuine and safe for the liver. The most important thing is to protect your liver from any further damage or harm.
If you have any other questions, Van, please ask me.

Hi @V_n,
Welcome to the forum, and hope you get the support you need here. As @Mylisa mentioned, it is difficult to know exactly what is in herbal remedies. There are other threads discussing this here:

- Food, Activity, and habits alternatives guid
Hope this helps,
Thomas
Thank you Mylisa and Thomas
