Hello,
During my last check-up, chronic Hepatitis B was diagnosed by chance. Following further blood tests, I am now taking Tenofovir 245 to reduce the viral load.
What do you make of the blood test results? Is there a chance to get the virus under control?
Thanks in advance

Dear @Oll961 ,
It can take some time to reduce your viral load over time to undetectable. Indeed, it is a good sign that your HBV DNA levels are remaining so low.
Hope this helps,
Thomas

Thanks for the reply,
so far I have no complaints. The liver was examined by ultrasound in 09/24, with no signs of damage to date.
Sorry, I’m having trouble with the spelling here. The system keeps changing the spelling.
No problem about the spelling! Great that you haven’t had any problems so far and that you have no evidence of liver damage.

Now an update, after taking Tenofovir, the viral load has dropped to zero. However, I should continue to take Tenofovir until the next blood test.
Fantastic to hear, @Oll961 .
Indeed, it is appropriate to continue taking your medication as long as you are HBsAg-positive.
