HVP is a 3 series shot for adults. 0-2-6 months break down. The pharmacist didn’t say anything about further shots. I was due for my second shot, which I received today. So, your wife’s schedule seems about right.
Thanks. Bansah1

Thanks @Bansah1 so turns out you did need more than one shot? Good to know - and your doctor/pharmacist didnt say anything about any concerns with Hep B patients getting the vaccine? I want to get it but am scared given my status….
There is a cut off age. I couldn’t get the second dose because I am 46 years old. 45 is the cut-off age. If you are below 45 then you can receive all 3 shots. That was what I was told today at the pharmacy.
HPV vaccine should have no problem with hepatitis B. They are 2 different viruses and both vaccines do not use any live viral particles. So you won’t get HBV OR HPV from the vaccines. You should be fine. I have not experienced anything negative since I received my first shot 2 months ago.
ok great, thank you - i was just nervous but had to remind myself if i got the covid vaccine (a much newer vaccine) with no adverse affects to my hep b, then I should not fear the HPV one. Hopefully you are able to get your next 2 shots with no pushback from the insurance/pharamacy!
