Can hepatitis B cause kidney damage?
I have difficulty urinating as well as a rash and I believe some immune reaction because I have a fever.
Autoimmunological analyzes indicate that there is no autoimmune disease after examination by a rheumatologist.
After a year of risky sexual intercourse, I did markers:
HBs ag-negative
Anti HBs-negative
Anti HBc total-negative
Hepatitis C:
Anti HCV-negative
Hi @Marko_Ortiz,
As mentioned previously, there is no evidence that you have hepatitis B. Therefore, investigations of your symptoms should focus on other causes, but definitely not hepatitis B, since you are not infected, according to your results.
I have heard and also observed that people in the late stages of the disease may develop kidney and other organ issues since, at that point, their livers don’t function and may have failed. These issues don’t happen overnight; it takes years to develop. If the liver is not functioning, it affects the other organs as well. Our organs work and depend on each other.
I hope you are able to find some answers to your symptoms. Best, Bansah1
