How will US tariffs impact Vemlidy prices and medication access?

Hi everyone,

I noticed that my Vemlidy bottle says it’s made in Canada. From what I understand, the U.S. will impose a 25% tax on all goods imported from Canada, including medications, right? My insurance covers part of the cost, but I’m curious to know what this will mean for me moving forward.

I also live about four hours from the Canadian border, and I’m wondering if I should consider exploring options to get my medication there instead of in the U.S., given all the instability.

Right now, I’m feeling a bit fearful because of all the chaos and uncertainty in the U.S.

A feeling shared all over the world about the instability at this time. And we’re told to avoid stress…lol

Checks with Customs or whatever American oversight committee may have been overlooked in the firing rampage and ask if meds coming from here are exempt from tariffs…as a starting point, anyway…
