I have been on TAF since May last year and has been working well. Just last month, our country is out of supply of TAF and they told me it is a problem world over, not sure how true it is.
I do not want to go for TDF because of its impact on kidneys.
They suggested that I must rather switch to TAF generic by the name Hepbest 25mg.
My questions:
Has anyone ever used hepbest and how has it been generally?
Is anyone else experiencing supply problems on TAF?
What other options can I possibly use to secure TAF?

I have taken TAF before, but not the generic version. But doing a quick search, HepBest does contain the same active ingredient (Tenofovir Alafenamide) in TAF. It should be an equivalent/good substitute. I hope this helps. Keep us posted on how you do on it. Bansah1.
I have seen HepBest online, and the prices are much lower than brand-name TAF, though I can’t comment on whether or not it’s authentic, or what the quality control process is like for it. Maybe some of the @HealthExperts can chime in here. I’m actually curious to know the answer myself.

I have used generic drug for TAF (My TAFF ) about 5 years ago . My HBV DNA can be suppressed to undetectable after starting this drug for 6 months. This generic drug is manufactured by Mylan Laboratories Limited from India. In my opinion, this generic drug is qualified for use in eligible CHB patients and has no side effects from my experience. In Thailand there are no problems about supply and we can use this drug interchangeable with other generic TAF if it is approved by FDA .I hope this may help you .
