HepB and testostorone level

Hi,

I was wondering, is there a link between having hepB and testostorone level in males and estrogen levels in females ? I haven’t have time to research this, just asking if anyone knows.

Hi @hepb1,

I haven’t heard anything like this. There is a thought that testosterone may lead to worse outcomes: men are about twice as likely to get liver cirrhosis or liver cancer compared to women, but we still don’t know exactly why. Testosterone (or other sex hormones) seem like the obvious choice, but a lot more research has to be done.
