Followup lab result

Hello everyone,
My name is Keber, and I am from Ethiopia. About six months ago, I was diagnosed with Chronic Hepatitis B (CHB). At the time, I was in shock, and unfortunately, I didn’t have anyone to discuss it with. Since then, I’ve found this community, and I am truly grateful, as it has helped me understand my condition better.

Recently, I completed a six-month follow-up test, and I would like to share the results with you for your professional opinion. The results include Liver Function Tests (LFT) and a Liver Elastogram Ultrasound. Please note that I didn’t take the viral DNA load test this time, as it is expensive ( it was 25 IU/mL six months a go).
My doctor suggested that since my other results were normal, it wasn’t necessary to do the viral load test for now.

My doctor informed me that everything looks normal, and there is no need to start therapy at this stage. I would greatly appreciate your feedback on the results. Kindly provide your professional opinion, and feel free to correct anything I may have misunderstood or missed.

Thank you for your support!

Hi @Kebraraw,
Thanks for sharing your results. Your doctor is right about not needing treatment at this time because your results is normal. A liver stiffness of 7.02KPa is considered normal by some standards (2-7KPa). Keep doing what you are doing and try to remain being monitored by your doctor each 6 months as you have been doing. It is very important to do that. Best, Bansah1
