I just wanted to share story about legend indian film actor who was infected with Hep B in 1982 through blood transfusion when he had severe accident while doing action movie. I knew he was having hep b in 2000. He openly declared about it in 2013 and he stated that he is surviving with 25% liver. He is healthy and carrying hep b virus for last 43 years and now he is 82 years old, so hep b is not that life threatning disease. Hope this short story will encourage all infected with Hep B

Thank you for the story of hope.
As soon as I was diagnosed, one of the things I looked for was to see if there were any celebrities who had the virus… and the only one I found was him. And his testimony is very encouraging.
My search was more to alleviate my disappointment with myself for not having heard about HEPB before. And this issue is essential since prejudice makes us anonymous and invisible…
