Does Chronic Hepatitis B fall under dread disease cover insurance?

From my reading of the literature, hepatitis B itself does not necessarily meet the criteria of a dread disease given it can be asymptomatic for so long and managed without too much impact on one’s everyday life. It may be possible that advanced liver disease (e.g. cirrhosis, and need for liver transplant) could meet this definition. It is likely that you’d need to discuss with your insurance provider to confirm.
