Hello family,
I always wake up fatigued, lightheaded with my hands shaking a little. I have been troubled by some signs I was feeling. I had to perform blood sugar tests, the results came out very low on two occasions. If I stay without food for some hours, I feel all these symptoms, as though I might collapse.
Does hepatitis b cause aforementioned signs and symptoms.
For what it’s worth, I also have stomach ulcer.
Hi John Paul, very glad to hear from you. As far as my understanding goes, I do not think that hep b all by itself can cause low blood sugar. The symptoms you describe sound like “hypoglycemia” where your blood sugar levels drop and usually require someone to eat or drink something quickly to relieve these symptoms. You should definitely get these symptoms checked out to make sure that you don’t have any other condition that causes your blood sugar levels to drop after not eating for several hours. Your ulcer could be interfering with the absorption of food, but since I’m not a doctor, I can’t give you a definite answer. There may be other doctors on this forum? But even so, you want your own health care provider who knows you to check this out. Always, Joan
