DNA test after vaccine

Hi

Will the recent vaccination with the recombinant DNA vaccine show in HBV DNA test? I know that vaccine leads to transient hbsag positivity , I am not sur about DNA though. Can I please ask experts to advise?

If this the recombinant DNA vaccine against COVID, then there is no reported cross-reaction between this vaccine and Hep B tests.

I meant hep b recombinant hexavalent vaccine for kids. As far as I know to produce this vaccine a part of the virus DNA is inserted to yeast to produce Hbsag. I am not sure if this can cause false positive Hbv DNA test.

Ah, this is a protein vaccine - so it may still lead to a false positive HBsAg test.

The recombinant DNA (as you correctly said is inserted virus DNA to produce HBsAg) is put into yeast first and then the antigen is purified from that to form the vaccine. The vaccine itself is not DNA.
