Changing doctors

Dear all experts

I have a question on changing Doctor/Hepatologist.

I am on TAF treatment with current doctor for around 5 years. Currently, I have move location which is far from my current Doctor. I am thinking of consulting new doctor in my new area.

Is there any risk to do so? What steps or caution shall I take if for this decision?

Because I need to get drug from my current doctor every month. If I change new doctor I will probably get drug from new doctor too.

Dear @senhour,

Changing doctors sounds like the appropriate option in your case. It’s best that you ask your old doctor to send their notes on you to the new doctor so they know your clinical history.
