Can I take albendazole?

I have chronic hep b but not on anti viral treatment yet.
I just took 400 milligrams of albendazole. Should I be worried?

Hi @sslim,
I doubt there is anything to be worried about if it is a one time treatment. Albendazole is used to treat parasitic worms and I doubt it will impact your HBV virus. Some people who take it for a prolonged period (14-28 days) can sometimes have liver toxicity. It is mostly safe otherwise according to this research.
