Dear @availlant , @ThomasTu

Today, I went for labs after i took Vemlidy for 73 days. I had switched to Vemlidy due to the failure of Entecavir. I’m sharing my Lfts and AFP that i recieved today. I will collect the HBV PCR lab ( viral load) on 10th or 11th of October.

I just don’t know why is SGPT/ALT still high?

Hi @Nawab ,

Thanks for keeping us updated. I’ve just removed your lab results for the time being - just make sure to block out any identifying information for your own safety and privacy.

Yes, your ALTs are still high, but if this is due to continued inflammation from Hep B then it will reduce over time as the antivirals reduce viral replication. If they stay high, then your doctor may consider other causes of liver inflammation. You will get a better idea of what is happening once your HBV PCR lab results come back.

Hope this helps,
Thomas

Dear @ThomasTu

These were my labs from July 2025. After these labs my gs switched me to Vemlidy.

Yes, that is all consistent with the results you mentioned. Hopefully the switch means your viral load goes back down.

Thomas
