Hi @Chukwu,
Welcome to the community, and thanks for sharing your results. The results indicate that your ALT and AST are a bit high, viral load is 592, which is low, and your surface antigen quantification is around 24,000. Are you on any treatment? If not, please consult with your doctor to see why your AST and ALT are elevated. Your creatinine level is high, but this could be due to dehydration rather than a kidney problem if this is the first time for such a result. Try hydrating well before your next test. If you can find chamomile tea, it can help. Best, Bansah1
No am not on treatment at the moment, am just bit worried at the moment
Your viral load is low which is good. Have started any exercises such as weight lifting recently? AST and ALT are produced in other muscles so this doesn’t necessarily mean it’s your liver causing it. You have to find the source of it. Please try and see a doctor to investigate this situation further. Thanks, Bansah1
If you were recently tested positive for hepb and not on hepb antiviral meds you should do another blood test again that includes HBsAG, HBsAB, DNA viral load and any other tests your doctor recommend in 3 months to see how things are. Worst case, you’ll see a jump in AST/ALT and DNA viral load if your body is fighting and unable to control the hepb virus replication.
If you are already seeing a doctor then you should be seeing them every 6 months for checkup.
Have been on hep b since 2022.
Ok bansah. Will start that asap. Thansk you
