Hello @Lindah
What do you mean edibles?
I get high on life. Nature, friends, family, my faith.
Getting high has consequences I don’t like.
Each to his own, though.
It is a battle and I usually spend Saturday nights alone. Sometimes reading though this community forum. :weary: not exciting but safe and no regrets

HI @Lindah ,

I presume be edibles you mean orally ingested THC…

Interestingly, a related compound derived from marijuana extract (cannabidiol or CBD) was shown to have some antiviral properties against HCV but not HBV.

There is no definitive data on the effects of THC on liver function but some studies have suggested that THC has anti-inflammatory properties in the liver with a positive impact on fatty liver disease.

Regardless of this and also depending on why you use THC (recreational or otherwise), its use should be carefully considered in consultation with your doctor.

Best regards,

Hi @Lindah,

Some of these issues are discussed in other threads:

Basically, there is little evidence for harm or benefit of cannabis in liver health.
