Found out in april that i have hepatitis b

I’m sorry I’ve missed your post @Hf334 I will try and answer your question.

I’m 65 years old found out when I was 20 years old that I had HepB virus and was a carrier.

This new information did not change my lifestyle as I thought it was a virus and would go away. My doctor did not give me any information.

As the years rolled by, I started to see pamphlets in doctors’ offices or hospital about hepB which made me curious.

I married my husband who had to be vaccinated. We had 3 children all vaccinated. They are adults now. 40, 34, and 32 years old.

When I told my future husband I had HepB and he needed to be vaccinated so he wouldn’t get it from me, he didn’t blink. I did not tell him up front because I didn’t even think of the HepB. We were too busy falling in love.

I try to live a healthy lifestyle looking out for my liver. No drinking, smoking, fried food. Home cooked food. I do enjoy takeaway every now and then and love cake, chocolate.

I hope I have answered your questions. If not, send me another. I will try not to miss it this time.
