If you were on anti-viral treatment, such as Entecavir or Tenofovir, then the drop simply means you are responding to treatment. Most patients can achieve zero hbvdna under such treatments. I notice your serum HBsAg (Ag Hbs) is still high.

Hi @ inin 78649

From the results of your laboratory tests about HBV profiles and HBV DNA , as @ Stephenw have mentioned about this. If you are not taking antiviral drugs, your HBsAg levels are not correlated with HBV DNA levels which may indicate that you are HBeAg -ve chronic hepatitis B . This may be due to the fact that in HBeAg-ve CHB , the sources of HBsAg mostly come from the production of integrated HBV DNA and only a small portion of HBsAg are produced from ccc DNA in nucleus of hepatocytes while HBV DNA are only produced from ccc DNA . Your HBV DNA levels are fluctuating that may be due to your body immune responses to the viruses or may be from drugs such as herbal medicines that may affect the replication of virus.

You should consult with your doctor for a treatment plan .

I am not on any medical treatment and the doctors told not to take any for now

I am not a medical doctor, and I am not a HBV researcher. Here are just my personal opinions and can be wrong. I notice your hbvdna was 423 iu/ml in August 2024, then went up to 3310 iu/ml in October. Was 423 iu/ml a typing mistake? What is the status of your HBeAg and HBeAb? How long were you a confirmed HBV sufferer? Did you ever have a liver stiffness test, for example, a Fibroscan or liver biopsy? And what is the result if you do have one? Based on your hbvdna of 128 iu/ml and HBsAg of 2331 iu/ml recently, my opinion is that you are entering the Immune Control Phase. This should be accompanied by your ALT being below the upper limit of normal(ULN). I noticed you have very frequent hbvdna and HBsAg tests, so are you under the supervision of a HBV doctor? If not, please consult one.
