There is this thread from earlier, and it seems like high HBsAg is not associated with faster disease progression
I’m not sure how common it is to have HBsAg levels of 50,000, but my guess would be that it’s somewhat uncommon. I’ve heard that the average is somewhere between 3,000 - 5,000 IU. What we do know is that it’s more difficult for people with high HBsAg to establish immune control of the virus.
